Casemaster Dart Case Guide

Casemaster is a dart case brand from GLD Products of Muskego, Wisconsin, the company behind Viper. The range runs from a clip-on nylon case for one set to aluminum cases for three complete sets, and the Casemaster Plazma Pro holds six assembled darts up to 7 in long. For simple single-set protection, compare our own Laserdart Drop Sleeve Case.

Will my darts fit in a Casemaster case fully assembled?

Usually yes, but measure first. Lay one dart flat and measure from the point to the back of the flight. The Plazma and Plazma Pro take assembled darts up to 7 in long, while the Warden, Sentry and Sport use foam slots or holsters shaped so open flights aren't crushed. Long shafts paired with standard flights are what most often push a dart past that length, so check before you order.

What is the difference between the Casemaster Sentry and Sentinel?

Both hold six darts in a rigid Tactech shell without crushing flights; the Sentry is narrower and deeper, while the Sentinel is wider and flatter and adds pockets for accessories.

  • Sentry: 7.5 x 3.5 x 2.25 in, rigid foam slots for six fully assembled darts, plus slots for accessories. Three colors.
  • Sentinel: 7.5 x 5 x 1.75 in, an extra-wide profile with hard foam slots and both slots and pockets for accessories. Three colors.
  • Sentinel with Design: the same Sentinel in seven printed designs, from American Flag to Sinister Skulls.

If you only carry three darts, the Warden is the same Tactech build at 7.5 x 3.5 x 1.75 in.

Tactech, nylon or aluminum: which Casemaster case is toughest?

Aluminum is the hardest shell, and Tactech gives solid drop protection in a slimmer case.

  • Tactech rigid shell (Sport, Warden, Sentry, Sentinel): handles drops and has a textured grip.
  • Nylon over a hard resin shell (Plazma, Plazma Pro): the most organized, with zippered pockets, flight and shaft slots, and a limited 90-day warranty.
  • Aluminum (Accolade, Ternion, Legion): the hardest shell. The Legion adds 12 accessory pouches and 10 mini sleeves over the Ternion's 9.
  • Padded nylon (Salvo): the least bulky, and it clips to a waistband or pocket.

For a tough single-set alternative, our Single Pak Dart Case wraps a removable fiberglass holder in nylon.

Plazma or Plazma Pro: which Casemaster case should I get?

Get the Plazma for one set and the Plazma Pro if you carry two sets, a phone or a full league kit. Both use nylon woven around a hard resin shell, take assembled soft tip or steel tip darts up to 7 in long, and carry a limited 90-day warranty.

What should league players keep in their dart case?

Carry enough spares to finish a night without borrowing: a spare set of flights, one or two shafts, and for soft tip, a bag of points like our Key Stubbie 2BA soft tips. Add a few 2BA O-rings for loosening shafts and, for steel tip, a pocket point sharpener. The Plazma Pro's two plastic tubes and zippered phone pocket are built for exactly this kit.
