Yes for casual and league soft tip play, as long as the set meets your league's weight rule. NDA tournaments cap soft tip darts at 20g complete, and local leagues set their own limits.

The trade-off is size. Brass is less than half as dense as tungsten, so a brass barrel is wider at the same weight and groups less tightly. If darts keep crowding each other out of the treble, try a slim 90% tungsten barrel like the Laserdart CutThroat #1, 6mm wide in 16g, 18g or 20g.

Yes. Sure Grip Replacement Sleeves slip over the barrel in place of the worn factory sleeve and bring back the non-slip feel, so a slick grip doesn't mean buying a new set.

They are a direct replacement for Viper Sure Grip soft tip darts only, not a universal fit for other barrels. The sleeves come in several colors, so you can match your current set or give it a new look without changing the barrel.

Measure your board first, because each surround is sized differently.

• Guardian surround: 1 in high-density polyurethane covering 2.7 sq ft; fits most regulation sisal boards.
• Wall Defender II: 1 in V-Foam covering 3.8 sq ft, sized for 17.75 in boards. The cork version fits both 18 in and 17.75 in boards.
• Defender III: covers 8.2 sq ft for 18 in boards, the better choice if your misses stray wide.

All three fit without wall hardware.

Screw the track to the wall, attach the slider to your board, then lock the two together. The Viper QuickFit Dartboard Bracket holds a bristle or sisal board on a wall, cabinet or backboard, and the track stays put if you swap in a new board later.

1. Place the track so the center of the bull will sit 5 ft 8 in (173 cm) from the floor.
2. Hook the included Pro Line tape to the board with a dart and pull it out to 7 ft 9¼ in (237 cm) for steel tip play.
3. Mark the throw line on the floor, then fit your surround before the first game.

Most will, since the ViperLock and Viper aluminum shafts and the Flux conversion points use the standard 2BA thread. Check the length in millimeters: ViperLock Aluminum Shade shafts are 20mm (short) and 26mm (in-between), shorter than many brands' shafts with the same names, and they add a locking pin and O-rings to stop loosening.

Viper Flux conversion points turn a 2BA soft tip barrel into a steel tip dart and come with O-rings and a dart mate tool. Use conversion points on steel tip boards only.

It cuts a clean slot in your flights so a stem ring can lock them onto a plastic or nylon shaft, which stops flights popping off mid-game.
