Horizon Darts House Line Guide

Horizon Darts is our house line: the flights, shafts, points, cases, tools and darts we sell under our own name from Kansas City, Kansas. It is where to look for everyday spares and fixes, like SuperGrip Locked Shafts that hold flights with machined rings instead of springs, and for barrels such as the 90% tungsten Toto's Revenge. Our premium barrels are in Laserdarts.

Which Horizon Darts shaft should I buy?

Buy SuperGrip Locked if flights keep slipping, SuperGrip Spinning if your darts group tightly, and nylon or aluminum if you want low cost or color. All of these use the standard 2BA thread.

Which flights in the Horizon Darts range last longest?

Fabric and hard poly flights last longest; standard printed flights are the budget spares you replace more often.

  • Fabric flights are woven rather than film, so they resist creasing and tearing.
  • Hard Poly flights use a stiffer poly that resists bending and cracking.
  • I-Flights are the low-cost option to keep a stack of.

Film flights are rated in microns, which measures thickness, not weight. 100 micron is the most popular; thicker film lasts longer but is stiffer, so following darts deflect off it more.

Which Horizon Darts soft tip points should I buy?

Buy Key Stubbie points if your darts take a 2BA thread, and our 1/4 in points if they take the older, wider thread found mainly on bar darts. The two threads are not interchangeable, so check your barrel before ordering.

Which Horizon Darts barrels are worth a look?

Which Horizon Darts tools fix the most common dart problems?

Four small tools fix most problems before they end your night.

  • 2BA O-rings: slip over the threads so shafts and points stop working loose.
  • The Extractor: pulls a broken shaft or stuck soft tip out of the barrel without chewing up the threads.
  • 2BA Thread Tap: re-cuts a cross-threaded point or shaft cavity so you don't have to retire the barrel.
  • Point sharpener: removes burrs so steel points stick instead of bouncing out.

Which Horizon Darts case should I use for one set?

Choose the Single Pak for the most protection and the Dart Pal if you want to wear your case on your belt. Both hold one fully assembled set.

  • Single Pak Dart Case: a nylon case around a removable fiberglass holder, with pockets for tips and shafts. Slip the holder out and it still protects the set on its own.
  • Dart Pal Dart Case: a crush-proof plastic case with room for accessories and a back clip for your belt.
  • Small add-ons: an aluminum Flight Protector keeps flight fins square in the case, and a nylon Point Protector covers the point when darts ride loose in a pocket or bag.

What do I need to set up a dartboard wall at home?

A board, wall protection, a throw line and a floor you don't mind darts hitting.

  • Steel Tip Wood Cabinet: made in the USA from finger-jointed pine, with a chalk scoreboard, out chart and dart holders inside the doors. Exterior 22½ x 25½ x 3½ in.
  • Back Board: a carpeted, wood-framed 25 x 28⅜ in board if you don't want a full cabinet.
  • Vinyl Dart Mat: 2 ft x 9 ft 9 in, printed with both steel tip and soft tip throw lines, and it protects your floor and your points.
