Dart Lending Library
Everybody likes trying new darts. But if you don't live near a shop like ours where you can test one before buying, you're stuck buying blind from a photo, hoping the grip and balance work for your throw. If it doesn't, there's a good chance it ends up in a drawer, which gets expensive fast with higher-end darts.
The Dart Lending Library is our answer to that. It works like a library: check out a set, throw it for real, and decide before you buy.
How it works
- Available to US customers, on Laserdarts and select Horizon Darts models, since we manufacture them ourselves and keep inventory on hand.
- Check out up to 2 sets, in a specific weight and style, for 10 business days.
- Contact us to check out the darts you want to try. If a set is currently out, we'll add you to a waiting list and give you an estimated wait time.
- At checkout, we charge your card for the cost of the set(s) plus Priority shipping. The darts ship immediately with tracking.
- Throw them for real over the 10 business days: league night, practice, a tournament, whatever tells you how they actually perform for you.
- Send loaners back Priority Mail Small Flat Rate, with a 3 day grace period for return transit. After that, a $5 per day late fee applies until they're back.
When your 10 days are up
- Keeping them: we'll send you a brand new set and cover Priority shipping on it.
- Want a different weight or style instead: check out a different set. We'll credit or charge your card the price difference and ship the new loaners.
- Returning them: send the loaners back and we'll credit your card for the set price.
Coated finishes
The library stocks uncoated (silver) models only. The coating adds a bit of tactile grip but doesn't change how the dart throws. If you decide you want a coated finish (Black or Gold Widow, Black or Golden Eagle, Black WidowMaker, Black KCs, and similar), return the silver loaners and let us know. We'll send the coated model and charge only the difference.
